250/365 rad pack

I opened another rad pack from Victoria tonight and it was a small part that I assume has an electronic use, I have no idea what it is. It had this coil inside of it, which thought was brass. I had great plans for the ring, but was unable to follow through with my idea since the coil was IMPOSSIBLE to drill through. I don't have a diamond bit, perhaps that would have done it. One end has a small tab, so I simply cut the coil with snips and inserted the tab in the cut I made. Not what I had planned, but at least it's FINISHED.

* I have since learned that this is a steel clock spring.

249/365 rad pack

The wonderful Victoria Takahashi sent inspiration packages to all of the EtsyMetal members who are still participating in RAD. These 'rad packs' are bundles of little wrapped packets to be used as inspiration when we are making our rings. The only rule is that the day you open a packet you must use it for your ring. This is my third rad pack ring.

In the packet was this little glass bottle. So I filled it with a favorite substance (scotch), carved a cork to fit the top, and wrapped it with copper wire to form the ring. And wouldn't you know I drank the whole bottle as soon as the pictures were taken.

231/365 party popper

party popper, copper

There were microphone issues - I do not have a lisp! At least I don't think I do, and no one has ever TOLD me I do. (Look for my cat in the background taking off after the pop.)

Inspired by comedian Eddie Izzard.
Sterling silver, stainless steel, magnetic figure.

Here's a
a six+ minute video of Eddie doing his "Cake or Death" bit, it does contain foul language.
